The RIght Sort of Girl - Anita Rani

From Alan Lane -

I recently purchased the subject book and I felt like letting you know how an enjoyable read it has proven to be.

As you may know, Anita has been quite a long time with the BBC programme “Countryfile” which is broadcast on BBC TV early on a Sunday evening.

It tells of Anita’s upbringing in a Punjabi family that had settled in Bradford, West Yorkshire, and as Anita was born in the UK, the conflicts between her “English” life and the ‘Indian’ life her grandparents followed.

I recommend this book to you all if you want a humorous story that those of us that had spent time in India can fully understand.
